According to a press release issued by Summit County, as of 1 pm (MST) on Saturday the companies involved have agreed to stop operating. 

There will not be any more flights in connection with The Sundance Film Festival.

The service was said to have drawn complaints from local residents in Park City as well as Summit County officials and the sheriff the day before.

Any companies who want to provide a helicopter service in the future will need to obtain necessary land use permits first.

Prior to this agreement Uber insisted on Friday they would be running flights until the 21st January but this is now no longer the case.
